At VerdeLuz, raising healthy kittens doesn't begin the day they are born. It begins with their mother.

Before planning a litter, our first responsibility is to our queens. We carefully consider their health, temperament, physical condition and overall well-being before asking them to become mothers.

Throughout pregnancy and nursing, our queens receive attentive care, quality nutrition, supplements when appropriate, regular monitoring and, most importantly, time to rest and recover. Because raising kittens is a partnership. Our mamas do an incredible amount of the work, and it is our responsibility to support them while they nurture the next generation.

Our kittens are raised alongside their mothers in a dedicated nursery where we can closely follow their growth, development and emerging personalities while giving each queen a comfortable environment to care for her babies.

We believe healthy, confident kittens begin with healthy, confident mothers.
